Since the beginning of modern era, real estate has been an important part of people’s life. A safe decent place to live, food, and the chance to build great nations are the most important things for the people. Land is the most important thing for farming, building homes, running businesses, and many other things. Currently, real estate is not only an important asset in the real estate business, but it can also be used as an investment with the ability to give long-term returns to both individuals and businesses. The real estate industry is also very important for the growth of the economy, society, the environment, and the country as a whole, all of which affect people’s quality of life.

Real estate can bring in money, security, and growth if it is managed smartly and strategically. Because of this, people at all stages of society need to learn more about fundamental of real estate. This is why the Malaysian Real Estate Institute (MyREI) was created – to become a reference center and to disseminate real estate knowledge widely in Malaysia and around the world for the sake of future generations’ well-being. 

Real estate is not only an asset in the real estate industry alone, but also provides investment opportunities that have the potential to provide long-term returns for individual and organisations. The real estate sector plays an important role in the economic, social, and environmental development of the country and affects the humans’ quality of life.
