Valuation of Heritage Properties

This course provides participants with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in assessing the value of tangible heritage assets, such as historic buildings, monuments, and culturally significant sites. It covers key topics including heritage significance, legal and regulatory frameworks, valuation standards, conservation principles, and emerging technologies in heritage conservation. Participants will explore the conventional valuation method comprises the comparison method, cost method, and investment method; while addressing challenges unique to heritage properties such as limited comparables, preservation obligations, and stakeholder considerations. This course is essential for professional involved in heritage conservation and asset management.

Specialized Property Valuation refers to the assessment of properties that have unique characteristics, limited market comparability, or specific functions that make traditional valuation methods less applicable. We are pleased to organize a Specialized Property Valuation course, set to take place in Kuala Terengganu—a coastal heritage city on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. As property valuation becomes increasingly sophisticated, this programme will provide valuable insights into the latest methodologies, approach, and best practices essential for accurate and effective property assessments. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced experts, engage in interactive discussions, site visit and enhance their professional competencies in this critical field. The valuation of PME holds critical importance across various domains including accounting, insurance, transactions, taxation, and asset management. Possessing comprehensive knowledge about the value of plant machinery and equipment is indispensable for owners, buyers, valuers, and managers tasked with the stewardship of these essential assets.

Lawatan Kunjungan Hormat ke Forest City dan Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas

Institut Harta Tanah Malaysia (MyREI), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) akan mengadakan Lawatan Kunjungan Hormat ke Agensi-Agensi Berkaitan Harta Tanah di Johor Bahru. Lawatan ini bertujuan untuk mengukuhkan kewujudan dan keterlihatan (visiblity) institut ini di peringkat negeri Johor.

Lawatan ke galeri sempena majlis sambutan Tahun Baharu Cina ke Dewan Perniagaan Cina Batu Pahat

Ketua Jabatan MyREI iaitu Dr. Indera Syahrul Mat Radzuan dan Cik Emy Syafiqah Nadia Mohd Hamidi serta pelajar pelatih Sdri Siti Khadijah Danny telah meluangkan masa untuk melawat galeri sempena majlis sambutan Tahun Baharu Cina di Dewan Perniagaan Cina Batu Pahat yang merupakan bangunan bersejarah di Bandar Penggaram yang telah didirikan pada tahun 1931. Ia terletak di No. 32, Jalan Rahmat, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor. Lawatan ini juga adalah salah satu usaha bersama di antara pihak UTHM dengan Dewan Perniagaan Cina Batu Pahat yang telah membantu dalam usaha mempromosi bahan pameran Galeri Batu Pahat 1894 ke bangunan bersejarah ini kepada khalayak umum sempena sambutan Tahun Baharu Cina.

Majlis Kick-off Tawaran Geran Penyelidikan dan Kewangan Sektor Awam 2025

Majlis ini telah diadakan di Jabatan Akauntan Negara Malaysia (JANM) di Putajaya bagi meraikan 5 penerima geran penyelidikan perakaunan dan kewangan sektor awam bagi tahun 2025. UTHM telah diwakili oleh Dr. Indera Syahrul Bin Mat Radzuan selaku Ketua Penyelidik dengan kajian bertajuk “Penentuan Kaedah Penilaian dan Pengukuran Aset Ketara Warisan bagi Kerajaan Persekutuan Malaysia”. Selain itu, Pengarah MyREI iaitu Prof. Madya Sr Dr. Abdul Jalil Omar dan Tn. Hj. Rosli Bin Hj. Nor yang merupakan  penyelidik bersama bagi kajian ini turut hadir. Majlis kick-off ini telah diserikan dengan perutusan oleh YBrs. Puan Zainani Jusoh, Timbalan Akauntan Negara (Korporat) kepada kesemua ahli penyelidik yang berjaya memperoleh geran daripada JANM iaitu dari Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) dan Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).

Industrial Talk - Redifining Estate Agency Practice Using Latest Technology oleh ESP Properties

Program Industrial Talk ini diadakan pada hari Khamis, 2 Januari 2025 oleh sebuah agensi harta tanah iaitu ESP Properties dari Kluang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pelajar tentang bagaimana industri harta tanah telah terjejas dengan teknologi baharu untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan aliran teknologi. En. Shahrill Azuan Bin Abdul Razak yang pernah menjadi salah seorang pengarah syarikat dan juga menjadi Perunding Harta Tanah (REN) untuk syarikat tersebut telah berkongsi maklumat tentang bagaimana ESP Properties menyesuaikan diri dengan transformasi teknologi terbaru untuk memudahkan proses penjualan harta tanah. Ceramah industri ini telah disertai oleh beberapa orang staf Jabatan Pengurusan Harta Tanah dan juga sepuluh (10) orang perunding harta tanah daripada ESP Properties.
